Knowledge is Power
Hey,
My name is Michael. I am a 17 year old emancipated minor, living in Gambrills, Maryland in the United States Of America. I am looking to find world wide friends especially in United Kingdoms and all other places. I am live and take care of myself. I have done so pretty much since the age of 14, when I came out to my parents and told them that I was gay. I however have learned so much being on my own and have also learned that my friends are my family. I was adopted at the age of 7 so I do not know much of my biological other then that they are Polish. I talk to them here and there. I also talk to my adopted family here and there but my mother has really hurt me by not wanting me around.
I am not looking for people to be sorry for me but I am looking for people of any age to get to know and learn more about them and there country. Knowledge is power and I want to learn so much so I can be who I was meant to be. I am kind, funny, and a very complex person and I get along with almost anyone. I am a geek when it comes to languages, I am learning latin I have two years of German and one year of Spanish. I would love to learn other languages and that is about it. Hope to here from people soon.

That’s so cool - looking after yourself for a long time, being independent is brilliant. I am from the UK and yeh! ^^. I am more or less independent - apart from I do not live with myself, I live with my mother and my younger brothers! I love being independent - what’s it like in the US being under 18 and living by yourself, I am curious as I have no knowledge of this!
