I’m Australian, German born. University educated. Doctor of Philosophy, my field is Linguistics.­ Language teacher and in my younger days trained nurse.
For many years I lived on a tropical island in the South Pacific. Now I am back here in Australia.

Loving life and interested in learning about other cultures and countries.
I like to laugh but most people only know my serious side. You have to get to know me for a while to understand my quiet sense of humour.

Even though I am older now and have acquired a little bit of wisdom, sometimes I am still prone to the same follies as in my younger years; I am still very trusting and tend to believe what people tell me.

I am more introvert and therefore a good listener but once I get interested in a topic, a good, even great conversation­ develops.

Generally I get on really well with men a little younger than myself, possibly because I have a very positive outlook on life and like learning new things and getting to know new people.
