Hi everyone!
As the headline says, I am a creative and slightly bookish girl from Slovakia. I am a 16-year-old student ready to correspond though the snail mail in either English or French, although the latter is still mediocre.
I’ve been an avid reader since I was taught how to read (at the age of two, I believe:)) and my numerous reading experiences have filled my head with a quaint substance as that of candyfloss, in consequence of what I am an unimprovable daydreamer.
Hope I wrote it correctly. Sadly, I am not a native speaker, so I tend to make mistakes. Anyway, I’ve been learning English for quite a while, so I guess my English is much better than, let’s say, my French. I won’t mind writing in French, though - actually, for me it’d be very helpful. I aspire to study both English and French at the university.
Apart from reading, my hobbies include writing (both stories and letters, the long ones in particular), thinking, dreaming, cycling, swimming, listening to (good) music, watching (good) films and visiting new places. And in opinion, doing snail mail is the best way to improve one’s knowledge of faraway places.
So, if I haven’t bored you to death, let me express my hope to hear from you soon and commence our penfriendship, whoever you are. I love receiving handwritten letters, the long ones in particular. I am particularly fond of penpals from France, Finland, Sweden and Greece, but it doesn’t matter to me if you’re from elsewhere. I can’t wait to get to know you. :o)
